Rev. Sari Brown
Pastor
Rev. Sari is a creativity-driven pastor, singer/songwriter, anthropologist, and facilitator of heart-opening spaces. She has been a Provisional Elder in the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church since 2016. Originally from Hubbardston, MI and Ann Arbor, MI, she studied Anthropology and Religion at Marlboro College in Vermont and earned her Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Atlanta). She has also lived, worked and studied in Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. She seeks to center the voices of the marginalized in every aspect of her ministry, and to ground spirituality in the earth and in the body.

Her background includes a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and positions of preschool teacher, program coordinator, nanny, Head Start teacher, instructional coach, and program supervisor. Lindsey has already started her position, developing a plan for children and youth ministry, getting to know the children and youth we currently have and working on outreach to other families in our community.
